Faith Haugh from Melbourne has undergone 41 donor cycles in the past 17 years, resulting in 19 children who otherwise wouldn’t be here without Faith’s unwavering desire to help others. The HFEA still going through its consultation - do you think egg donors should be paid? It can be argued that payment in one form or another is justified not only to try to meet the rising need for donor eggs, but also to reduce exploitation of the women who require donated eggs and those who have specifically been recruited into the egg trading market from outside the UK, given the risks associated with donating eggs...
