Chinese, Asian and African-Caribbean egg donors wanted in Manchester and Cheshire

At Manchester Fertility our location in Cheadle, Cheshire, means we have a diverse range of communities on our doorstep within Greater Manchester and beyond.

We welcome patients from many different ethnic backgrounds to our private infertility clinic, whether they need IVF, ICSI or treatment involving donor sperm or donor eggs.

In most cases, if a couple needs donor sperm from a donor who is of particular ethnicity, we’re usually able to meet this request because we have many different ethnic sperm donors who regularly donate to us.

But this isn’t always the case for our patients who would ideally seek egg donors who share their ethnicity. So we are starting 2014 with a new donor recruitment campaign, appealing to women from ethnic communities across the North West.

We need egg donors who are Asian, African-Caribbean and Chinese so we can help the increasing number of people from these communities whose only hope to have a family of their own is to use an egg donor.

There may be many reasons why a couple needs to use an egg donor. It could be that the issue is age-related infertility, where the woman isn’t able to use her own eggs successfully anymore because of her age. Or she may have had medical treatment that could have affected her fertility.

Would you be prepared to help? If you’re aged 18 to 35, are a non-smoker with a healthy BMI and no serious health issues, you could be eligible to be an egg donor with Manchester Fertility. Egg donors receive £750 per cycle of donation in compensation for the time and nature of egg donation; or if you need IVF yourself and are prepared to share your eggs, you could receive a subsidised cycle of private IVF with us for £870 inclusive of all tests and drugs.

Your anonymity is preserved when you donate – the woman who receives your eggs will never know who you are. But you must be willing for any children conceived using your eggs to potentially contact you in future when they turn 18, however you are not financially, morally or legally liable for them in anyway. The recipients of your donated eggs are the legal parents of any children born.
