Your own dedicated donation team:

Our Donation Team provides dedicated support to all women who donate eggs to us, altruistically through Manchester Donors and through egg-sharing if they need IVF to conceive. They arrange all your appointments to suit your lifestyle and commitments and help you write your personal egg donor profile. Our team is by your side every step of the way, giving you reassurance and advice as you need it for a stress-free egg donation experience.

Tailored egg donor protocol:

No two egg donors will have exactly the same donation protocol, because everyone has a different ovarian reserve and medical background and will likely to respond differently to fertility medications.

We’ll be able to identify exactly the right donation protocol for you, so you donate eggs safely without any compromise to your own health and wellbeing. This tailored approach means we very effectively reduce your risk of any potential side effects, including Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS).

Bespoke counselling:

Is egg donation really right for you and your family? We welcome egg donors from all backgrounds and situations. Some of our egg donors are single women, others are women with a family who want to help others, and some are women who need IVF themselves.

Our counsellors will discuss the implications of egg donation for you taking into account your circumstances not just now but in the future.

We’ll make sure you understand all your rights as an identifiable and traceable egg donor, including your right to find out if a baby has been born from your eggs. And also the rights of the person who uses your eggs and any child she has, so you can become an egg donor with confidence.

Clinical care:

Although the egg donation procedure in our clinic theatre can seem daunting, our theatre team are on hand to support and reassure you. We’ll be able to tell you how many eggs you’ve donated on the day.

On our private ward post-egg collection, our fertility nurses will care for you until you’re discharged with full follow-up instructions including details of our emergency 24/7 helpline if you’re ever worried.

We also follow-up with you in the days after donation, to ensure you are well and have no concerns.
